Twitter is in mood to launch a new feature. It will let you share tweets longer than 140 characters, Recode reports.
Twitter has already removed direct message character limit. From last month company is being progressive in lots of changes, like changing the iconic ‘favorite buttons’.
A current Twitter employee reportedly told Recode:
People have been very precious at Twitter about what Twitter can be and how much it can be evolved. Having Jack come in and say it’s okay makes all the difference in the world.
There are external platforms like OneShot that already allow users to tweet longer pieces of text as images, but not native tweets.
It may be possible that company will stop counting links in character or user handlers to free up some space. But with no more details, we will have to wait and watch.
